What legal issues have cast members of Southern Charm been embroiled in off-camera?
Southern Charm, a reality TV show that premiered in 2014, is known for showcasing the glamorous lives of wealthy socialites living in Charleston, South Carolina. However, what viewers don’t get to see on television is the behind-the-scenes drama that happens off-camera.
One of the most significant scandals that occurred off-camera was the tumultuous relationship between cast members Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis. The two had an on-again, off-again relationship and even had two children together. However, their relationship was marred by allegations of sexual assault, substance abuse, and custody battles.
Ravenel faced scandal after former nanny to his children, Dawn Ledwell, accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2015.
