What new characters and skins are introduced in the Season X trailer for Fortnite?
Fortnite, the popular online video game, has released the trailer for its tenth season – Season X. The trailer, which was released on August 1st, 2019, has caused excitement among the game’s fanbase.
The trailer opens with the character known as The Visitor from Season 4, crashing into the Zero Point, causing a massive explosion. The explosion leads to a time rift that brings back older versions of Fortnite’s map and skins, as well as new ones. The trailer then introduces a new character, known as Catalyst, who appears to be working with The Visitor.
Over the course of the trailer, we see older versions of the map, such as Dusty Depot and Tilted Towers, as well as new locations, including a futuristic city and a jungle. The skins featured in the trailer also show a mix of old favorites and new designs, such as a robot suit and a warrior outfit.
The last portion of the trailer showcases the new gameplay mechanics that will be introduced in Season X. Players will have access to new vehicles, such as a golf cart and a mech suit, and a new ability that allows them to teleport short distances.
The trailer ends with a tease for an upcoming in-game event, “The End”, which appears to be linked to The Visitor and Catalyst’s plan. This has caused much speculation among fans about what the event could entail and how it will affect the game’s storyline.
Season X’s story trailer has set a high bar for what promises to be an exciting and unpredictable season of Fortnite.
