Miller’s top “Up” of the night was Sasha Banks’ surprise comeback, and the setup made the payoff hit harder. The segment opened with what looked like a genuinely emotional moment: Natalya addressing her injured elbow and paying tribute to her late father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, on the anniversary of his death. Banks walked out seemingly to offer support, sporting the bright blue hair that immediately had commentary and fans buzzing, and went in for what looked like a hug.

Instead, Banks turned on Natalya, ambushing her in the ring. When Becky Lynch rushed out to break it up, Banks overpowered the Raw Women’s Champion, driving her into the steel ring steps before finishing the assault with a series of chair shots. It’s the kind of heel turn that reframes a long-running friendship in one segment, and the shift from Banks and Natalya as allies to enemies is exactly the sort of overnight fracture that fuels wrestling storytelling the same way it does in other public falling-outs between former friends.

Chaos Around the 24/7 Championship

Miller’s review spends real time on the 24/7 title, which lived up to its name inside a single, breathless segment. R-Truth came out as champion alongside Carmella, but a mid-ring scramble saw Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson of The Revival both land pinfalls on him at the same time, leaving the show to recognize co-champions. Moments later, Carmella helped R-Truth turn the tables, pinning Dawson to put the title back in Truth’s hands — only for Elias to blindside him backstage with a guitar shot and walk off as the new champion.

The segment plays as a mixed bag in the review — entertaining in bursts, but a reminder that the title’s constant churn can dilute the stakes of any individual reign. Still, Miller notes the chase remains one of the more unpredictable threads running through Raw week to week, not unlike how petty backstage skirmishes can dominate a broadcast even when the bigger story is elsewhere.

Rollins, Styles, and the O.C. Problem

The in-ring centerpiece pitted new Universal Champion Seth Rollins against United States Champion AJ Styles in a non-title matchup. Miller credits both men for delivering the kind of match quality expected from a champion-versus-champion pairing, but the finish is what draws his attention: Styles’ O.C. stablemates, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, swarmed the ring to interfere, triggering the disqualification.

Braun Strowman’s run-in gets flagged as one of the show’s genuine “Ups.” He single-handedly cleared Gallows and Anderson from the ring and then laid out Styles to close the broadcast, reinforcing himself as Rollins’ ally and giving the fresh Universal Championship reign an immediate, credible three-on-one threat to build toward.
