Really great actors are those who act like they like each other on set, but actually loathe one another IRL. You might not know it, but some of our most-loved onscreen couples and friends did not have the same relationship off the camera…not even close. Whether it was ego, attitudes or money issues that got in the way, some actors just couldn’t stand working together. And a lot of the pairs will probably surprise you.
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams pulled at everyone’s heartstrings in The Notebook, and even went on to live out an off screen romance, but did you know that they hated each other while filming? And Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall played best friends in the series Sex and The City and the following movies, but money came between them and ended their real life friendship.
