How can we change the culture in Hollywood to prioritize valuing and respecting employees?

However, some celebrities fail to realize that their success would not have been possible without their employees. Unfortunately, there are numerous reports of celebs who treat their employees like trash. This deplorable behavior should not be tolerated, and it’s essential for these stars to face the consequences of their actions.

One notable example is Ellen DeGeneres, who has faced a lot of backlash recently for fostering a toxic work environment. Several of her former employees have come forward with allegations of racism, intimidation, and harassment. After conducting an investigation, three top producers were fired from the show. While Ellen addressed the issue in a public apology, her behavior towards her employees is unacceptable.

Another example is Mariah Carey, who has a reputation for being a diva who treats her employees poorly. In 2017, her ex-manager, Stella Bulochnikov, filed a lawsuit against her, alleging that Carey had a habit of throwing fits and verbally abusing her employees. Bulochnikov also claimed that Carey was often negligent towards her fans and would prioritize her own needs over everything else. Carey has denied the allegations, but her behavior towards her staff speaks volumes.

Furthermore, Nene Leakes from The Real Housewives of Atlanta is also known for her unpleasant behavior towards her employees. In 2011, she was accused of verbally abusing her personal assistant, after which the employee quit. In another instance, she reportedly demanded that the production staff refer to her as “Queen NeNe.” Such behavior is unacceptable, and it’s disappointing to see these stars who have everything, act like they’re above everyone else.

Celebrities should not be allowed to get away with treating their employees badly. Employees should be valued and treated with respect, regardless of their position. While it’s understandable that being famous can often be stressful, it’s never an excuse to treat others poorly.
