Actors Hollywood Won’t Cast In 2019

For one reason or another, Hollywood certainly has a list of actors it won’t be casting in 2019.
Whether it’s a tweet dug up from someone’s unsavory past, or a tweet written during their unsavory present, these actors were deemed not worth the effort to save their careers. From harassment accusations to just being a pain to work with, here are five actors Hollywood won’t cast in 2019.
One of the most unsurprising on this list is Roseanne Barr. After tweeting a racist tirade against Valerie Jarrett, the reboot of her show Roseanne was promptly cancelled. Louis C.K. is perhaps THE most unsurprising member of Hollywood’s blacklist. After being accused of harassment, one of comedy’s brightest stars was quickly extinguished. Kevin Spacey is a household name, ranking among Hollywood’s greatest actors. However, after assault claims came to light, Spacey was immediately pulled from the show House of Cards, as well as Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World. Though her former Shake it Up costar Zendaya has gone on to enjoy massive success, Bella Thorne seems to just barely be doing alright. With a reputation as a diva following her, it seems she’s had a hard time nailing down big box office roles. Alden Ehrenreich, best (or perhaps only) known for his role as a young Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story, probably won’t be getting any big-name offers anymore. With Disney and Lucasfilm are desperately trying to make up for Solo’s massive bomb, it seems like Ehrenreich doesn’t carry the starpower Hollywood hoped he would.

Who are some actors that might struggle to land big roles in Hollywood in 2019?
In the world of Hollywood, the entertainment industry is constantly evolving. Year after year, new faces emerge and old ones often fade away. While many actors have managed to maintain their relevance and reputation for years, there are a few who have started to lose their charm and appeal to the viewers. In 2019, there are a few actors who might struggle to land a big role in a major production, as their popularity meter has dipped significantly.
One such actor who might see limited offers in 2019 is Johnny Depp. Known for his iconic depiction of the eccentric pirate Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Depp has been struggling to find success lately. His last few films, specifically ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ and ‘The Lone Ranger,’ were underwhelming at the box office, and his personal life has also taken a hit, which has affected his public image negatively.
Another actor on this list is Adam Sandler, known for his comedic roles in films such as ‘Happy Gilmore’ and ‘The Waterboy.’ While he has had his fair share of hits in the 90s and early 2000s, his recent films have failed to make an impact, both critically and commercially. His last role in ‘Sandy Wexler’ was poorly received, and it seems like audiences are starting to grow tired of his old-school slapstick humor.
A third actor who may struggle to find roles in 2019 is Matthew McConaughey. Known for his critically acclaimed performances in films such as ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and ‘True Detective,’ he has had mixed success lately with his recent works. His last few films, such as ‘The Dark Tower’ and ‘Gold,’ were box office duds, and McConaughey has not delivered an excellent performance to gain momentum since his Oscar-winning turn in ‘Dallas Buyers Club.’
Lastly, Katherine Heigl is a female actor who has been absent from the Hollywood scene in recent years. She was once hailed as one of the rising stars in the industry, known for her role in the hit medical drama series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and her successful stint in romantic comedies. However, her reputation took a hit when she spoke out about her negative experience with Judd Apatow, labeling the film ‘Knocked Up’ as “sexist.” Since then, she has struggled to land significant roles in Hollywood.
While these actors have all had their moments of success and popularity, it is clear that they may struggle to secure major roles in Hollywood in 2019. Whether it be a result of underwhelming performances, personal controversies or audience fatigue, only time will tell if they can make a comeback. For now, they may need to re-evaluate their strategies and choices to remain relevant in the industry.
