How do you think interviews in the media impact the public’s perception of celebrities?

Celebrities are used to being in the limelight, but sometimes their interviews can take an unexpected turn. From storming out of the studio to flat-out refusing to answer certain questions, there have been many celebrities who have been kicked out of interviews over the years. Here are just a few of the most notable examples.

1. Kanye West

In 2013, Kanye West was being interviewed by the BBC when the conversation turned to his fashion line. The interviewer suggested that Kanye wasn’t being taken seriously in the fashion world, and the rapper was less than pleased. In fact, he quickly walked off camera, leaving the interviewer sitting there with a confused expression on his face.

2. Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has had his fair share of interviews over the years, but one of the most infamous occurred in 2015. During an appearance on a Spanish radio show, the host asked Bieber to help him remix one of the singer’s own songs. When Bieber refused, things quickly turned sour, with the host eventually throwing Bieber out of the studio.

3. Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. is known for his quick wit and sometimes snarky comments, but during a 2015 interview with Channel 4 News in the UK, his comments landed him in hot water. When the interviewer asked him about his past drug use, Downey Jr. fired back with a sarcastic comment about the interviewer’s own drug use. Needless to say, the interview ended on a sour note.

4. Bill O’Reilly

While not technically a celebrity, Bill O’Reilly was certainly a well-known figure in the world of media. In 2015, he was being interviewed by Jorge Ramos on Univision when things got heated. Ramos asked O’Reilly about his views on immigration, and when O’Reilly refused to answer the question, Ramos had him removed from the studio.

5. Quentin Tarantino

In 2013, Quentin Tarantino was being interviewed by Krishnan Guru-Murthy on Channel 4 News when the conversation turned to violence in movies. Tarantino didn’t take kindly to the questions, accusing Guru-Murthy of trying to take a moral high ground. He then proceeded to call the interviewer out and refused to answer any more questions before storming out of the studio.

While it’s certainly not ideal for a celebrity to be kicked out of an interview, it certainly provides some entertainment for those of us watching from the sidelines. These examples show that even the biggest names in Hollywood are not immune to a little bit of drama during an interview.
