John Stamos wasn’t having it, firing back on Twitter in April 2015 with a blunt “I call bullshit.” He walked the comment back publicly not long after, but the damage lingered — Radar Online reported in 2018 that Stamos went so far as to keep the sisters off the guest list for his own wedding, reportedly viewing their non-answer as ingratitude toward the show that made them rich.

Stamos wasn’t alone. Co-star Lori Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky, told Access Hollywood flatly that no paycheck was ever going to change the twins’ minds because return money simply wasn’t the point — they just didn’t want to do it. None of it has slowed down The Row, the label that’s made the Olsens more money than “Full House” ever did — but it’s also why every time a “Fuller House” cast reunion gets floated in the press, someone inevitably brings up Stamos’s old tweet and the wedding invite that never showed up.
