For the most part, the kids of the Real Housewives franchise are okay, or as okay as you can be when your mom is on a show that’s based around being rich and yelling.
But it’s pretty easy to fall down a hole when you have never-ending access to money and privilege, not to mention famous parents. Here are the Real Housewives kids who aren’t doing so well…

What can society do to support Real Housewives children who may be struggling with the aftermath of their parents’ choices?
As we tune in each week to the explosive drama of The Real Housewives, it’s easy to get swept up in the glamorous lifestyles, questionable behavior, and over-the-top fights of the cast members. But beneath the surface, there are often children who are caught in the crossfire of their parents’ choices and the intense scrutiny of the show’s cameras. These children may be too young to understand the implications of their parents’ actions or too old to avoid the public fallout, but either way, their lives are impacted in significant ways.
One of the most famous examples of troubled Real Housewives children is Teresa Giudice’s daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. The family’s legal troubles and subsequent prison sentences were well-documented on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, leaving the girls to navigate public ridicule and shame. Gia, the eldest daughter, has been particularly vocal about her struggles with anxiety and depression related to her parents’ legal issues and the show’s fame.
Similarly, the children of Beverly Hills Housewife Kyle Richards have faced their own challenges. Her daughter, Portia, has grown up on camera and faced heavy criticism from viewers for her behavior and attitude. These are just a few examples of the many Real Housewives children who have not had an idyllic childhood due to their parents’ decision to participate in the show.
