In a recent interview, members of the cast played a game of “Who Would You Rather” between the show’s titular character, Loki, and the Time Variance Authority agent, Mobius.
Tom Hiddleston, who portrays Loki, began by saying that he would choose his own character because “No one knows what he’s going to do next.” He added that Loki has a “compelling duplicity, volatility, and unpredictability,” which would make for a more exciting experience.
On the other hand, Owen Wilson, who plays Mobius, took a different approach. He argued that Mobius is a “man of order and logic,” making him the better choice. He noted that “he always knows what he’s going to do next, and he knows what Loki’s going to do next.”
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who portrays Ravonna Renslayer, had a hard time choosing between the two characters. She praised Loki’s “charm and charisma,” but also admired Mobius’ “intelligence and wit.”

Finally, Sophia Di Martino, who portrays a mysterious character named Sylvie, would choose Mobius because he “seems like he’s got his head screwed on a little bit better than Loki.”
